County Durham is to receive almost £9.5m of funding from the Homes and Communities Agency’s (HCA) ‘Kickstart’ programme to get stalled regeneration projects back on track.
The move will also help create new jobs. Five projects have been shortlisted and will now be subject to a rapid due diligence process, which could see the completion of 255 new homes over the next two years.
